For founders · UK & US
You don't need more intros. You need the right three
Most founders are not turned down because the business is weak. They are turned down because the business is unreadable in the twenty minutes an investor gives it, or because they were in front of the wrong investor entirely. We fix both, in that order.
The founder journey
Four stages, no shortcuts
Nobody goes out half-built. That is the whole reason investors take our calls.
- 01
Apply and get read properly
A short application, then a real conversation. We look at traction, market and the founder, not just the deck.
- 02
Get investment-ready
Model pressure-tested, narrative rebuilt, go-to-market sharpened. Six to ten weeks with an operator who has done it.
- 03
Meet the right three, not thirty
Hand-picked introductions to investors and experts whose thesis, sector and temperament actually fit yours.
- 04
Keep the partner after the wire
The expert stays on through hiring, board build and the next raise. The match is the product, not the intro.
What you get
Hands-on, not a pitch template
Every founder we take on gets tailored coaching, model work and go-to-market planning before the first investor conversation.
Strategic coaching
One-to-one with an operator who has built and sold in your sector, on a fixed cadence you control.
Model and narrative
Bottom-up model, honest margin, and a story that makes the evidence findable in an hour.
Investor matching
A named target list built on thesis fit, with warm routes in and the reference work already done.
Ongoing care
Peer network, regular check-ins and genuine support for the part of raising nobody talks about.
Pathways
Matched to your sector, not a generalist
Recruitment & staffing
Launching or scaling a recruitment business
Billings model, back office, funding structure and exit path, from people who have sold recruitment businesses.
Healthcare & nurse staffing
Building a compliant healthcare staffing desk
Credentialing, framework access, per-diem and travel margins, and the working capital a clinical desk really needs.
Technology & engineering
Contract tech and engineering desks that hold margin
Contract versus perm mix, rate cards that survive procurement, and the niche depth clients pay a premium for.
Recruitment & staffing
Start it, fund it, scale it, sell it
The decisions that decide whether a recruitment business becomes an asset — written by operators who have already made them in the US and UK.
Questions
What founders ask before applying
Do you only work with recruitment and staffing founders?
Recruitment and staffing only. Every operator on our list has built and sold an agency. Within that we go deep across high-value niches — healthcare and nurse staffing, technology and engineering, executive search, industrial and logistics, life sciences and finance — and we match you with someone who has run your exact desk, not a generalist.
I need working capital, not investors. Can you help?
Yes, and knowing which one you actually need is the first conversation. Contractor payroll gaps are a cash-timing problem usually solved with invoice finance rather than equity. We would rather point you at the cheaper answer than introduce you to investors you do not need.
Can you help a UK agency open in the US?
That is one of the most common matches we make. It involves a US entity, state registrations and workers' compensation, a separate US funding arrangement, and — most decisively — a first US hire who already bills in your niche in that metro.
How ready do I need to be before applying?
Ready enough to have numbers. Gross profit by client and by consultant for the last twelve months, a clean debtor position and an honest compliance picture. If you are not there yet, the two-minute readiness check will tell you what to fix first.
What does it cost a founder?
There is no charge to apply or to be matched. Where you take on a readiness programme with one of our operators, the fee is agreed directly and transparently before any work begins.
How long before I meet an investor?
Typically six to ten weeks from acceptance to first introduction, depending on how much readiness work is needed. Founders whose numbers are already legible move faster.
Find out where you actually stand
The readiness check takes two minutes and tells you the truth — including when the honest answer is to wait.
